Unfortunately, during the closing moments of our FA Vase win Vs Aylesbury Vale Dynamos - Josh sustained a devastating knee injury in which his Patella Tendon was completely ruptured.
Not only is this an extremely rare injury, but a challenging one also.
The recovery is extensive and arduous - with Josh having many months of rehabilitation ahead of him.
As a club, we are completely gutted that this has happened to him and we will support Josh in whatever way we can.
Josh has been with us, on and off, the past 3 seasons and it's typical that this year, he was really finding his mojo as an extremely competent center back. A rock for us.
We give Josh our sincere & heartfelt best wishes and strength as he faces the road to recovery - but at the same time reminding him, he is not alone in this battle.
Thank you for all your work and effort, Josh - you've given everything when on the field - you've got this.
